Sadaqa Jariya: Investing in Eternal Rewards
Invest in eternal rewards by engaging in Sadaqa Jariya, where your generosity continues to benefit others for generations.

What is Sadaqa jariyah?

Sadaqa Jariya, also spelled as Sadaqah Jariyah or Sadaqah Jaariyah, refers to a continuous charity or ongoing good deed in Islam that brings blessings and rewards not only in this life but also in the Hereafter. It is a concept deeply rooted in Islamic teachings, emphasizing the importance of charitable acts that have a lasting impact and benefit beyond the immediate moment.

Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqa Jariya), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for him."

Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "There are seven deeds that continue to bring rewards for a believer after death: knowledge from which others benefit, a pious child who prays for them, a Qur'an that they leave as inheritance for others, digging a well, planting a tree, building a mosque, and giving charity from their wealth while they are healthy and alive."
